5 Simple Ways To Figure Out More Time For Reading

If you have come to this page, then you already know how important it is to read daily. The question is how to maximize the time for reading, so we could learn more. Here are a few ideas which may work for you only if you try them out. 1. Learn to say no to at least one task a day. ©Quotefancy Reading needs time and for that, you need to cut down a certain task that makes up your 24 hours a day. Try and say no to at least one task a day and then slowly take it to cut out two tasks a day. It could be watching that daily soap or anything that is not as important as reading and gradually you will be making more time to read. 2. Do it first and do it last. Prioritize reading as the first thing in the morning and as the last thing, you would in your day. Assigning half an hour in the morning and same in the evening works for many. Morning is the time you start afresh and evening is when you are done with everything else so your mind is ready to grasp things better. 3. Download e-books on your phone Have time, but have nothing to read? Traveling in the metro but do not have a book to read? This is the time when an e-book come handy. You can get the kindle subscription on your phone and get going. 4. Consider listening to the audio version There are a lot of times like driving your car or working out in the morning when you can not read a book but then at least you have an option to listen to its audio version. It could be a podcast as well. Try to maximize the time you have. 5. Get off social media ©Twitter We all know how addictive Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram and other social media apps are and how mindlessly we waste our time them. If you can cut out at least half an hour from that and devote it to reading your life may change to better.

David Warner Breaks Down As He Apologises & Is Resigned To Never Play For Australia Again

Regrets are stronger when they hit you every day and affect the position you built in the society for yourself. Australian cricketer, David Warner has been doing the walk of shame for a while now. He was banned after he was accused in the Cape Town ball-tampering scandal. In a recent press conference, a teary-eyed Warner fought back tears as he genuinely apologised for his role in the scandal and said he is 'resigned' to never playing for Australia again. Read the full transcripts from the Warner, Smith, Bancroft & Lehmann press conferences here: https://t.co/CsxflxQyCo pic.twitter.com/iqSoge4MUk — cricket.com.au (@CricketAus) March 31, 2018 He said he had a tiny ray of hope that he might get to play with his team again but was "resigned" to the fact that it might never happen. He has already lost a lot of money since the scandal exposed him and Warner is willing to comply with the authorities and give answers. 1/3 I know there are unanswered questions and lots of them. I completely understand. In time i will do my best to answer them all. But there is a formal CA process to follow. — David Warner (@davidwarner31) March 31, 2018 2/3 I am taking advice to make sure I properly comply with that process and answer all questions in the proper place and at the proper time. — David Warner (@davidwarner31) March 31, 2018 3/3 I should have mentioned that in my press conference I'm sorry for not making it clearer. With so much at stake for my family and cricket I have to follow this process properly. I think that's fair. — David Warner (@davidwarner31) March 31, 2018 Warner is not going to be considered for any captaincy positions in the future and his cricket career has been jeopardised by his own actions. Cricket is just not a game, but an emotion and it seems like David is paying a high price for trading his future with an unwanted scandal.

Skattocross Is A Bike & Skateboard That Is Every Adventure Junkie's Dream Come True

Is it a bird? Is it a bike? Is it a skateboard? It's Skaterman! No, we're just kidding. There's no such thing as a 'Skaterman', although we wish there was. But we do have 'skaterman's' automobile, something he'd look rather cool on, if he did exist! Rathneesh M.Y., has come up with a very unusual and interesting concept vehicle called 'Skattocross-The Skatebike', which is a burly-ish combination of a bike, on a skateboard! We're guessing he combined his love for bikes and skateboards and built the first motorised 'Skatebike'. The concept looks complicated but it's rather simple. The model is built on two wheels, not four and the wheels are chunky and have great off-road capabilities. That's because the entire concept is motorised and you can easily control the device with your hands. The mechanism is quite simple. It has a hand-held module, which makes it easier to control the two-wheel sets, while it feels like you're on a skateboard and not really on a bike. The contraption weighs about 40kgs and runs on a 70cc two-stroke petrol engine. What we actually dig about this machine is that the Skattocross actually has the flexibility and the portability of a skateboard, with the speed of a motorcycle, making it look fast, even while you're standing still! © VIVRT motors Hailing from Mysore, Rathneesh developed his interest in automobiles and design from a very young age. Working in his father's garage, while studying engineering at the same time, gave birth to his undying penchant and love for anything automotive. The prototype was of course designed and developed in Mysore itself and we really won't be surprised if he used his dad's garage to build this beauty! The whole machine cost him INR 60,000 and took about two years to build. “We have used fresh and used parts to experiment with the design and to build the first prototype” - Rathneesh (as told to another publication) Although, we would love to see Skattocross across Indian roads, Rathneesh doesn't want to bring it out as a regular feature on the roads. He in fact wants to create a category of motorsport, exclusively for Skattocross, through VIVRT Motors, a company established by Rathneesh that aims to unleash the thrill of adventure motorsport in the country. © VIVRT motors Currently the skater-bike can do 60kmph, which he believes can increase with modifications, once it hits the markets in the B2B segment, which primarily means that Skatacross can be used in amusement parks and people can pay a certain amount to experience his marvellous design. “The big picture on the concept of Skattocross is to make it available for all the gearheads and to give it as a new motor sports" - Rathneesh (as told to another publication). What are the tech specs? Well, it's an electric motor, which is quite powerful, with zero emissions. The tyres are quite burly and thick, while the machine is lightweight and has a strong frame and you can definitely try some off-roading with it. The machine comes with a hand-held remote control, allowing you to steer the vehicle in any direction you wish to. The suspension is great, which makes sure your ride is super smooth. © VIVRT motors We really can't wait to get our hands on this and give it a try and probably see people Skattocross in the near future. It's environmental friendly too, you see.

Here's How All Android Users Can Stop Facebook From Collecting Private Data, Call Logs & SMS Details

We all love to connect with our friends all over the world and from anywhere you want to. You love to catch up with some of your old school friends or stalk your ex about his/her life. However, recently Facebook was found collecting call and SMS history from users who use the Messenger or Facebook Lite apps on Android smartphones. It is an opt-in feature most users tend to agree without ever looking through the terms and conditions in detail. © Facebook However, if you are not in the mood to have your data being tracked by Facebook and want to have more privacy, you can simply disable the function that tracks your data. You will simply have to disable the “Sync Contacts” function. Follow these steps: 1. From Home, tap your profile picture in the top right corner. 2. Tap People. 3. Tap Sync Contacts to turn this setting off. Once you switch off the contact uploading feature, the contacts that were previously uploaded to Messenger will automatically delete. You can also go to the “Manage Uploaded Contacts for Messenger screen” and tap Delete All > Delete All. © Facebook If you are currently using the Facebook Lite app, you can follow these steps detailed on Facebook here. You can now sleep easily at night as you have removed Facebook's access to your contacts and other private data. Facebook never collected any contents or your calls or texts but it's easier to be on the safer side than being sorry.

Only Eating Protein Will Not Help Build Muscle

I'll cut to the chase and put it out very simply- to build muscle, you need food. You won`t grow any muscle tissue unless you are eating in a caloric surplus. Drink as many protein shakes as you want, eat as much chicken breast you can, but if you are not eating enough calories, then don`t expect any muscle gain. There's no refuting this FACT. © Thinkstock Beginners and someone starting with training after a layoff will still build muscle irrespective of poor nutrition. However, this doesn't happen once you get past these stages. On one hand, we have dudes who consume little to no protein while on the other hand, there are those who live on protein, neglecting carbohydrates and fats. This article focuses on the latter kind of gym 'brahs'. © Thinkstock A lot of guys have a misconception that only protein builds muscle. This is highly inaccurate. Protein in combination with carbohydrates and fats (or just fats if you are doing keto), builds muscle. You can only consume a limited number of calories from protein alone, rest have to come from fats and carbohydrates. If you are not eating enough, your body will not have enough calories needed for repair and growth. Consider a 160-pound athlete needing 2800 kcal to build muscle. If he is consuming around 1.3g/pound of bodyweight protein, this will turn out to be 208gm of protein. Total calories will be 208*4=832kcal. So even if this athlete consumes the optimal amount of protein, he won`t gain any muscle if he`s not eating the rest of his calories from carbs and fats. In this case, unless the athlete consumes the remaining 1968kcal (2800-832) from fats and carbs, he can say bye-bye to gains. © Thinkstock Gym rats in recent years are so concerned about meeting their protein requirements that they ignore other macronutrients, which work in tandem with protein to build muscle. Now please don't ask what if he consumes all the calories from protein. This will require a whole new article to answer. Another misconception gym guys have in mind is only protein is needed for building muscle and recovery while carbohydrates are needed only for energy. Bullshit. Try eating just protein for few days while avoiding carbohydrates (unless you are on keto) and tell me how well you recover while feeling low and irritated. Try going too low fat or avoiding them altogether for a while in your diet and see your testosterone levels drop. Low testosterone means low energy levels, low motivation and even lower ability to recover from taxing workouts. Say bye-bye to muscle growth, again! Skinny dudes often ask me to suggest them the best protein powder with 0 gram of carbs and fat, the reason being they don`t want to gain any fat. It just makes me cringe and I`m like "2-4gm of carbs won`t kill you or make you fat". I don`t know if this term exists but they for sure, are suffering from 'carbophobia'. I`ll just say this, don`t be that idiot who avoids carbs like they are a mortal sin. A diet rich in complex carbohydrates, good fat and protein will pack on the muscle mass that you are looking for. Fulfill your intake of carbs and fat the same way you complete your protein requirements. Hey Bollywood, Can A Guy And Girl Never Be Friends?

Back in 1989, Sooraj Barjatya's 'Maine Pyar Kiya' that starred baby-faced Salman Khan and Bhagyashree entered our lives to deliver some pertinent lessons. It showed us the other side of the oft-hated pigeons and encouraged us to use them as carriers for all the love-letters we wanted to pen to our crushes. It also taught us the importance of having caps with “FRIEND” written on them as part of our wardrobe. © Rajshri Productions But, most importantly, the film reinforced one lie in our heads that we find hard to not believe almost three decades later. All it took was one dialogue from Mohnish Behl. 'Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ban sakte,” he proclaimed to over a billion Indians watching and rewatching 'Maine Pyar Kiya', who blindly believed him just like Salman Khan did in the film. Coincidentally, in Hollywood in the same year, protagonists in 'When Harry Met Sally' also seemed to agree with Barjatya's sanskari logic. In the film, Harry tells Sally how men and women can never friends because the *** part always gets in the way. He further justified his logic, saying, “No man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have *** with her.” © Columbia Pictures And, thus, as the leads in these two vastly different yet obviously similar films ended up together, convinced that love > friendship, the rest of us remained eternally convinced of the full-proof logic and started applying it in our personal lives. Unknowingly, we ended up screwing over numerous love lives, and friendships, only because we kept repeating to ourselves that a boy and a girl can never be friends. Friendships, apparently, are only limited to people within the same ***. Then came best friends Rahul and Anjali in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' who were so dedicated about falling in love that they defeated time, a dead wife, called off a marriage, and used an eight-year-old girl as their matchmaker. After Rahul and Anjali found their happily-ever-after, life was never the same. Suddenly, it was cool to initiate friendships with relatives you can't stand, but not with a guy. It's as if the simple thought that a guy and a girl can have a friendship while dating completely different people had never occurred to us. It turned out to be a Eureka moment that most of our earliest relationships had to do without. © Dharma Productions When I turned 15, I became friends with a guy at my English tuitions. I studied at a girl's convent school and he at a neighbouring boys school, so our bi-weekly tuitions every Tuesday and Thursday was the only place we met, besides sending each other unending scraps on Orkut. A year on, we were as thick as thieves, raiding Monginis after our tuitions got over, and bullying one another to buy each other an ice-cream with our pocket money. Our friendship was further strengthened by the fact that we had similar interests: he loved reading 'Harry Potter' as much as I did, and I loved watching 'Mission Impossible' as much as he did. Just when it seemed like I had found a friend for life, did the unthinkable happen. My girlfriends from school kept telling me how odd it is that I had a close guy friend, instead of making him my boyfriend. They indicated that it was the next natural step, and at that time, Rahul and Anjali were my Jodi No 1, so I did what any 16-year-old should definitely not do. I randomly sent him a scrap telling him that I loved him. Understandably perplexed, he said I love you back, hoping that there could be nothing better than dating a close friend. Except, both of us were gloriously wrong. © Dharma Productions Soon enough, fights started being the order of the day. I accused him of not sending me enough scraps, and he accused me of being very clingy. Anyway, after an unhappy two-month of courtship where neither of us had any idea of what we were doing, where we spent the last two weeks not talking to each other, we decided to call it quits. I had seen enough Bollywood to know that the pain of the first heartbreak would be excruciating, but what I hadn't been ready for was the pain of my first broken friendship. He was my closest friend at that time, and yet I couldn't go confide in him about my heartbreak, because society forced us to be each other's heartbreaks. That day, I learnt a crucial lesson: The worst bit about dating your friend is that you will not have anyone to bitch about him with. It was like when we decided to date, he and I knew that watching a horror film would give us sleepless nights, and yet we watched it anyway. It was also the day that I decided that this whole thing about a girl and a guy not being friends is utter bullshit. I'm pretty sure I wasn't alone. Think of your first couple of heartbreaks; at least one of them would have been the result of you forcing friendship into something it shouldn't have been only because you were told that was the only way. © 20th Century Fox Television Well, here's me telling you, 'ek ladka aur ek ladki dost ho sakte hai'. And, even Harry was wrong, *** doesn't come in the way unless if you're really attracted to your friend. In that case, you have my, Rahul and Anjali's blessings to turn it into a relationship. But, if that's not the case, then relax; it's possible to have a guy friend and be in a platonic relationship with him. There's so much to friendship with the opposite *** than just attraction. Having a guy friend can open up your mind in so many ways than one. You can go shopping, watch movies, and go to the parlour with your girlfriends, but you'll need a guy friend to watch and enjoy football with, and play the latest video games. Even years later, most of us fall into the trap of mistaking a friendship as a potential relationship. If there's anything worse than forcing a relationship on someone who doesn't want it, it's forcing a relationship on a friend. Things are bound to get awkward, because we become friends with some people for a reason and date some people for a reason. It's because we share different wavelengths and comfort with them, and in no universe, could they be interchangeable or remain the same. Just because Ted may have gone through seven seasons only to end up with his best friend Robin in 'How I Met Your Mother' doesn't mean it's not possible for two people to have a friendship like Marshall and Robin's. So, the next time you think about making a choice between having a guy as a best friend, and as a boyfriend, don't be stupid. Just stick to being best friends. After all, who's gonna teach you how to hold your drink down otherwise?

Bairstow salvages England after Southee, Boult strike

Trent Boult celebrates after trapping Dawid Malan, New Zealand v England, 2nd Test, Christchurch, 1st day, March 30, 2018/Getty Images CHRISTCHURCH: Jonny Bairstow was in sight of his fifth Test century after a late run spree with Mark Wood lifted England to 290 for eight at stumps on day one of the second Test in Christchurch on Friday. England had been in trouble at 164 for seven before Bairstow (not out 97) and Wood (52) put on 95 for the eighth wicket. Tim Southee and Trent Boult did all the damage for New Zealand with Southee taking five for 60, his seventh five-wicket bag while Trent Boult had three for 79 after New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first. England were in danger of not reaching 200 until Wood joined Bairstow and the pair put on 95 for the eighth wicket before Wood fell to Southee for 52, his maiden Test half century. After being comprehensively beaten in the first Test, England strengthened their batting line up for Christchurch with the addition of James Vince while Wood and Jack Leach came in for bowlers Chris Woakes, Craig Overton and Moeen Ali. But apart from Wood and Bairstow there was little to enthuse about with the England batting as Boult and Southee swung and seamed the ball with precision. Bairstow´s 97 off 154 balls included partnerships of 56 with Ben Stokes, 13 with Stuart Broad, the sparkling 95 with Wood and 41 with Jack Leach who was not out 10 at the end of the day. Jonny Bairstow finished the day unbeaten on 97, New Zealand v England, 2nd Test, Christchurch, 1st day, March 30, 2018/AFP On 58, Bairstow suffered a fearful blow to the side of the head from Colin de Grandhomme which knocked his helmet from his head but did nothing to slow his run flow. Boult and Southee took their wickets in clumps starting with Alastair Cook (two) and James Vince (18) to have England at two for 38. When play resumed after lunch they accounted for Joe Root (37), Dawid Malan (duck) and Mark Stoneman (35) in a nine-ball burst. Following the tea break, Stokes went for 25 and Broad for five before the Bairstow and Wood partnership.

PM Abbasi says visited CJP as a ?faryadi? of the country

SARGODHA: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Friday said he had visited the Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar as a 'faryadi' (complainant) of the country. He was referring to the reported remarks of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar during a hearing on Thursday wherein he had said his job was to listen to the pleas of every 'faryadi'. If CJP had used ?faryadi? he should have stuck to it: Nawaz Former PM made the remarks while interacting with reports inside the court hearing corruption cases against him and his family "The prime minister came with a plea, and it is my duty to hear everyone?s requests. I didn?t go to the PM house or the Secretariat. They came to visit me," Justice Nisar was quoted as saying. Later in the day, the apex court clarified that the chief justice never used the word 'faryadi' for Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. The remarks had stirred controversy, with Nawaz commenting yesterday that the prime minister can seek an explanation on them from the chief justice. Addressing the public in Sargodha, Abbasi said his opponents had a problem with his meeting with the chief justice and have leveled allegations that he visited him as a 'faryadi'. "They said I visited the chief justice as a 'faryadi' so yes, I did go to him as a faryadi...as a 'faryadi' of this country." "My witness is the chief justice," he said. "I don't want to discuss the meeting but I can tell you that we did not discuss any personal issues." Abbasi said he had contacted Justice Nisar to discuss issues faced by the country. 'Votes for Senate chairman were bought' The prime minister, during his address, reiterated that the Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani had been elected through bought votes. "I am saying this again today that money was used to get the Senate chairman elected," Abbasi said. "He [Sanjrani] cannot represent Pakistan." He challenged political rivals PTI Chief Imran Khan and PPP-Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari to say it on the record that MPAs were not bought. "I challenge Imran and Zardari to appear on the television and say that MPAs and votes were not bought." "Imran has forgotten how he used to lament that Asif Zardari had bought fourteen PTI MNAs. And when the time to elect the chairman of Senate, he voted for Zardari's candidate." The prime minister said that he was proud that his party had not spent a single rupee during the Senate elections. He also discussed the upcoming elections in July, stating that the politics of abuse will be buried in the 2018 General Elections. The prime minister expressed faith that the incumbent government will complete its tenure.

Khadija stabbing case: Lahore sessions court reduces sentence of convict

LAHORE: A district and sessions court on Friday in its decision on an appeal shortened the sentence of the convict in Khadija stabbing case to five years from seven years. The court, however, rejected Shah Hussain?s appeal to completely annul the sentence. On July 29, 2017, a court in the provincial capital sentenced the main accused, Shah Hussain, for stabbing his classmate Khadija Siddiqui at least 23 times on Lahore?s Davis Road. The attacker had managed to flee from the scene of the crime but was captured on a mobile camera by an eyewitness. Siddiqui was saved by her driver, who had tried to overpower the attacker, forcing him to flee from the scene on May 3, 2017. Khadija stabbing case: Appeal seeking dismissal of attempted murder charges rejected Second appeal asking to not make pictures taken together a part of the case was also dismissed The attack was witnessed by hundreds of people in front of a hotel on Davis Road. A few days later, Khadija identified her attacker and got him booked on charges of attempted murder. Khadija's younger sister, whom she had gone to pick from school, was also there when she came under the brutal attack and witnessed the entire episode. Survivor of brutal stabbing terrorised by thought of facing attacker in school exam Khadija Siddiqui, a law graduate, was stabbed by her classmate, Shah Hussain, on Lahore's Davis Road, on May 3, 2016 After the registration of a case, the accused, Shah Hussain, requested a sessions court for bail before arrest, which was turned down. Hussain, whose father happens to be a renowned lawyer, was aided by a number of other lawyers to flee from court premises after his request was turned down. Earlier, Sharing her story on Geo News' Aaj Shahzab Khanzada Kay Sath, Khadija had said, ?..I am standing my ground because if I let go, then this would create more such avenues."

Pakistan revival strengthens with Windies T20s

Pakistan have won 14 of the 17 T20 internationals since Sarfraz took over as captain in September 2016 KARACHI: Pakistan will take another significant step towards the revival of international cricket as World Twenty20 champions the West Indies feature in three back-to-back Twenty20 internationals in Karachi from Sunday. The Pakistan Cricket Board have put in place stringent security arrangements for the West Indies team, with 8,000 policemen and paramilitary personnel guarding the visitors in and around the hotel and stadium. The International Cricket Council (ICC) match referee David Boon will supervise the series while ICC general manager cricket Geoff Allardice and umpires´ manager Adrian Griffith will also attend the matches to oversee arrangements. The series comes as Pakistan is enjoying guarded optimism over the return of international cricket, driven from the country after a deadly militant attack targeting the Sri Lanka team in 2009. Earlier this month Karachi successfully hosted the final of the popular Pakistan Super League (PSL), becoming the second major venue to host international matches after Lahore hosted Zimbabwe in 2015. Lahore also hosted the PSL final in March last year, three World XI matches in September and one against Sri Lanka a month later. This year´s PSL final was the first major cricket event in Karachi since 2009. Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed said he was overjoyed at the return of international matches to his home city. "This is a great occasion," said Sarfraz, the only player in the squad who has played a limited over international in Karachi before. "We saw a big crowd in the PSl final so I hope they will come in big numbers for the Twenty20 series." The other two matches will be played on Monday and Tuesday. Pakistan have done well in the shortest format of the game, having won 14 of the 17 Twenty20 internationals since Sarfraz took over as captain in September 2016. That helped them reach the number one spot in Twenty20 rankings, having won 2-1 in New Zealand in January this year. Traffic plan for Pakistan vs West Indies series revealed The three-match T20 series will take place from April 1-3 in Karachi Sarfraz said he hoped his team would keep the momentum. "Whatever team West Indies sends we have to play at our best because they have good shorter format players," said the captain, whose team has only lost three of their 11 Twenty20 internationals against the West Indies. Pakistan have included three newcomers in batsman Asif Ali, allrounder Hussain Talat and paceman Shaheen Shah Afridi -- after the trio fared well in the PSL 2018. West Indies will be without their regular Twenty20 captain Carlos Brathwaite, who opted out of the tour over security fears while openers Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis, all-rounders Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard, and spinner Sunil Narine were not available for selection due to their commitments to the Indian Premier League. Visited CJP as a faryadi of this country: PM Abbasi

SARGODHA: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Friday said that his party had made efforts to end the gas and electricity deficit in Pakistan. He was addressing the public in Sargodha. "Our government was faced with a lot of issues when we came to power," he said. "Electricity and gas load-shedding were realities that Nawaz told me to tackle when I first became the prime minister." Lashing out at his political rivals, Abbasi said former presidents Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari, both, had done nothing to improve the country's condition. He alleged that the former governments had only worked to fill their own pockets, but the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) had addressed the issues faced by the country. "We continued on the road to development," he said, adding that those who had created problems for the country were making speeches every day. "Imran has forgotten how he used to lament that Asif Zardari had bought fourteen PTI MNAs. And when the time to elect the chairman of Senate, he voted for Zardari's candidate." He said that he was proud that his party had not spent a single rupee during the Senate elections. Speaking about his meeting with the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, the prime minister said that he had contacted the former to discuss about issues faced by the country. "My witness is the chief justice," he said. "I don't want to discuss the meeting but I can tell you that we did not discuss any personal issues." "People level allegations that I visited the chief justice as a 'faryadi' [complainant]," he said, "so yes, I did go to him as a faryadi...as a faryadi of this country." He also discussed the upcoming elections in July, stating that the politics of abuse will be buried in the 2018 General Elections.

If PM has reservations he should challenge Senate polls: Shah Mehmood

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday that if Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reservations over the election of the Senate chairman then he should challenge it, otherwise he should refrain from criticism. The PTI leader was addressing a gathering, where he asked the prime minister to retract his statements regarding Sadiq Sanjrani, in which he alleged that the newly-elected chairman Senate holds no respect as votes in his favour were bought. He further said that the government needs to scrutinise its claim of ending loadshedding in the country as it still persists. Shah said that the time for the National Reconciliation Ordinance is gone as it neither has a place in the law nor in the Constitution. Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo on Thursday had threatened to lead a protest march toward the capital city upon Abbasi's failure to retract his earlier statement about the recent Senate elections. On March 24, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of first ever CCV cable and Aluminium Alloy Plant at Sundur Industrial Area in Lahore, Prime Minister Abbasi had urged the members of the opposition to jointly nominate a new Senate chairman. ?The Senate chairman also serves as the acting president and it is a disgrace to the country that a man who bought votes became the leader of the upper house. Can there be any respect for the country after that?? he said.

MQM-P warns of protest if urban Sindh not given rights

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Bahadaurabad faction's leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said on Friday his party would stage protests if the people of urban Sindh are not given their due rights by the state authorities. Speaking in a press conference at the party's head office, Siddiqui said that he was glad to meet Dr Farooq Sattar at the party's office, adding that the matters between the party factions can be resolved through dialogue. He admitted that the party's organisational structure is not working as desired due to the ongoing intra-party crisis. The MQM leader said that the urban Sindh has been underrepresented in the census. "Only half of the Karachi's population is recorded in the census while the population of some cities have been overrepresented," he said. "PPP has also shown its ethnic bias." Siddiqui said that the MQM leadership and its supporters are ready to hit the streets. He said that the civic issues are not getting sorted due to massive corruption in the provincial departments.

A Geo News screengrab of Malala Yousafzai during her interview with Hamid Mir ISLAMABAD: Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner and education activist, said on Friday that she plans on a permanent return to Pakistan after completing her education. Malala who is pursuing a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University spoke to Hamid Mir, anchor of Geo News programme Capital Talk, in her first interview to a news channel since returning to Pakistan after being shot by the Taliban in 2012. "My plan is to return to Pakistan as this is my country. I have the same right on the country as any another Pakistani,? Malala said during the interview which will be broadcast at 7:05pm. Malala reiterated her joy of being in Pakistan and her mission of providing education to children. ?We want to work for the education of children and make it possible that every girl in Pakistan receives a high-level education and she can fulfil her dreams and become a part of society.? When asked if she saw a difference in the Pakistan of 2012 and 2018, Malala said: "Certainly there is a difference and things are improving. People in our country are uniting for a better Pakistan. People are active, which is a very good thing.? Malala said she appreciated the role of the then Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kiyani in her treatment. ?My treatment here [Pakistan] was by Army doctors and if they had not done my surgery in time I would not be here today.? The 20-year-old also thanked the Army and government for the role they played in her return to the county, adding that without them this would not have been possible. Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai addressing a gathering during the Reception to welcome her at the Prime Ministers Office on March 29, 2018 - INP Malala returned to Pakistan in a surprise visit in the early hours of Thursday. She met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and addressed a gathering at the PM House. ?I am very happy and still can?t believe that this is happening? In the past five years I had always dreamt of stepping foot in my country,? Malala said as she slightly broke down speaking about her return. In October 2012, Yousafzai ? then 15 years old ? was shot in the head at point-blank range by Taliban gunmen as she was returning from her school in Swat valley. She suffered bullet injuries and was admitted to the military hospital Peshawar but was later flown to London for further treatment. The shooting drew widespread international condemnation. She has become an internationally recognised symbol of resistance to the Taliban's efforts of denying women education and other rights. In 2014, Yousafzai became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17 in recognition of her efforts for children's rights.

First hijab-wearing Muslim to compete in Miss England

Maria Mahmood from Birmingham is set to become the first hijab-wearing Muslim to compete in Miss England. The 20-year-old who hopes to change mindsets about Muslims through the beauty pageant is through to the semi-finals. And if she wins, she aims to compete in Miss World. "Muslims are associated with negative things like terrorism. I?m determined to do my bit to challenge those views," Maria told The Mirror. "It's pretty rare for a Muslim woman to be in a beauty pageant but there?s nothing to stop us entering. I entered Miss Birmingham and the organisers were delighted to have a hijab-wearing Muslim in the competition. They fast-tracked me through to the final where I competed against 30 girls and came second. I couldn?t believe it," she said. While a Muslim has previously been crowned Miss England, Maria is the first hijab-wearer to take part. She bagged a place in the semi-final after finishing runner-up in last week?s Miss Birmingham -- her first-ever pageant. The psychology student and daughter of a cab driver, said she is supported by her friends, family and the wider Muslim community but expects some backlash from 'old-timers'. "Most people have been supportive. There have been a few negative comments and I?m fully expecting some criticism from old-timers. But what I?m doing is empowering for Muslim women. I?m anticipating most people will back me," she added. Regarding the swimwear round, the 20-year-old said, ?Obviously, I?m not going to parade on stage in a bikini as that is going against my religion and beliefs. I?ll wear a burkini." Miss England director Angie Beasley said, ?We?re delighted Maria will be wearing a hijab. It?s the first time that we?ve had a hijab-wearer taking part.? The Miss England semi-final will be held in Newark, Notts, in July.

Starc out of fourth South Africa Test, IPL with stress fracture

Mitchell Starc in action, Australia v England, 5th Test, Sydney, 4th day, January 7, 2018/Getty Images JOHANNESBURG: Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc has been ruled out of the fourth test against South Africa and the upcoming Indian Premier League due to a stress fracture in his leg, Cricket Australia said on Friday. His place in the team for the fourth test that started at the Wanderers on Friday was taken by Chadd Sayers. Starc was due to play in the IPL for the Kolkata Knight Riders, who paid US$1.5 million in the player auction for the injury-plagued left-arm seamer, but he became the third Australian to be withdrawn from the tournament this week. Steve Smith and David Warner had their IPL contracts torn up this week by the Rajasthan Royals and Hyderabad Sunrisers respectively after they were found guilty of ball tampering in the third test against South Africa at Newlands.

Egypt´s Sisi wins second term with 96.9% of vote: state media

Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Photo: Reuters Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has won a second term with 96.9 per cent of valid votes, state media reported on Friday, raising a previous tally from the preliminary count. The flagship state-owned newspaper Al-Ahram also raised its estimate of turnout in the March 26-28 election to 42.08 per cent, saying 25 million of Egypt´s 60 million registered voters had cast ballots. On Tuesday, the paper had reported that Sisi was reelected with 92 per cent of the vote on a turnout of just over 40 per cent. It gave no explanation for the upward revisions. Sisi, who as army chief ousted Egypt´s first freely elected president -- Mohamed Morsi -- after mass street protests in 2013, won his first term in 2014 with 96.9 per cent of the vote. The only other candidate on the ballot paper this year, Moussa Mostafa Moussa, won 3.1 per cent of the vote, Al-Ahram said. Moussa, a little-known politician who is himself a supporter of the president, registered immediately before the close date for applications, saving the election from being a one-horse race. The National Election Authority is scheduled to announce the full official result on Monday. Moussa conceded defeat on Wednesday evening, saying he had hoped for 10 per cent of the vote but knew all along that he was up against the "immense popularity" of the president. More heavyweight would-be challengers were all sidelined, detained or pulled out. Opposition groups had called for a boycott of this week´s vote which they labelled a charade. Even at 42 per cent, turnout was down on the 47 per cent in the 2014 election despite appeals from Prime Minister Sherif Ismail for voters to fulfil their patriotic duty.

Referee warned about Smith, Warner in 2016: report

Daryl Harper warned of the disgraced duo 'being involved in a ball-tampering incident' in domestic cricket in 2016 SYDNEY: A match referee warned of disgraced Australian cricketers Steve Smith and David Warner "being involved in a ball-tampering incident" in the domestic Sheffield Shield in 2016, a media report said Friday. The report came after Smith and Warner were stripped of the captaincy and vice-captaincy and banned for a year from the sport after being caught up in a plot to alter the condition of the ball during the third Test against South Africa on Saturday. Daryl Harper said the pair were not engaging in fair play while representing New South Wales in a match against Victoria in November 2016, according to an email he sent to Cricket Australia´s match referee and umpire selection manager Simon Taufel, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. "When David Warner repeatedly bounced his returns in to (NSW wicket-keeper) Peter Nevill on the first day, the umpires appealed to Smith to support their calls for fair play," the former Australian Test umpire reportedly wrote in the email. "They weren´t encouraged by his response. I assisted the umpires on the second morning by suggesting to (NSW coach) Trent Johnston that CA didn´t need an issue with the national captain being involved in a ball-tampering incident." Harper, who is Australian, said Smith had complained about the state of the Sydney Cricket Ground pitch after his team lost, and also "gave the impression that he wasn´t happy to be playing the Sheffield Shield match". "This was at the same time that the South African captain (Faf du Plessis) was under scrutiny (for ball tampering) and before he had been charged," Harper added. "As it transpired, there were no further errant throws for the final three days of the game from either team. Steve´s participation in the post-match meeting was quite limp, and not as I would expect from our national captain." Australian cricket scandal: What we know An outline of what we know so far about the chain of events and subsequent fallout from the incident Cricket Australia has announced a review into team culture in the wake of the South Africa ball-tampering scandal. Smith and Bancroft held emotional press conferences in Australia Thursday after returning from South Africa, while coach Darren Lehmann said he would quit after the fourth and final Test which starts Friday, despite being cleared of any involvement in the affair. David Warner is due to address the media in Sydney on Saturday.

Sohai Ali Abro tells all about upcoming film Motorcycle Girl

Photo: File Pakistani actor Sohai Ali Abro has said her upcoming film Motorcycle Girl aims to empower more women to ride motorcycles. ?The idea behind the film is to make it okay for women to ride motorcycles on the streets of Pakistan and get rid of the notion that it is something abnormal,? Sohai said during her appearance on Geo Pakistan. The actor lamented that when women are seen riding motorcycles in Pakistan it?s seen as abnormal and people take pictures of them and post them on social media. ?It shouldn?t be this way,? she asserted. Sohai who learnt to ride a motorcycle especially for the role further recalled that she started off with learning how to ride a bicycle. ?I was born in 1993 so in my time we had scooties and I didn?t even know to ride a bicycle forget a motorcycle,? she said. But Sohai learnt it well and fast through training from Women on Wheels. ?The director and I were scared that I might be involved in an accident, however, it went pretty smoothly.? ?There was only this one incident in which I gave too much race and the motorcycle went over rocks but I gained control and didn?t fall of,? she added. Discussing that the film is based on Zenith Irfan, who is believed to be the first Pakistani woman to take a solo bike trip through the country's north, Sohai said, ?It was her father?s dream to ride his motorcycle from Lahore to Khunjerab.? The actor added that Zenith lost her father when she was 11 months old and growing up she used to question her mother regarding her father?s unfulfilled dreams so she could fulfil them. The film revolves around an independent and strong-willed girl who is constantly breaking stereotypes. Further, she said that as a person she?s ?very different from the character so it was a challenge.? She said, ?I am very loud as a person and the character is very quiet.? However, Sohai dismissed that the movie is a serious documentary and said, ?It has a lot of comedy.? The actor who gave stellar performances in two of 2015?s biggest blockbusters Wrong No and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (JPNA) explained that she took a break from the screen as she didn?t find any script offered to her at the time compelling. ?I just felt that as an actor the kind of work I was getting was stereotyping me into the role of a patakha larki. I wanted to do something intense and substantial,? Sohai said. She added that she met Adnan Sarwar at a social event and when he discussed he was making a new film she immediately said she wanted to be a part of it as she ?was a huge fan of his Shah.? Motorcycle Girl will release in cinemas across Pakistan on April 20. It is written by Adnan Sarwar, whose first feature film Shah was based on the story of Pakistani Olympian Syed Hussain Shah.

Jackie 'Gangsta' Shroff Just Made An Appearance With Son Tiger & Totally Stole His Thunder

There is a reason Jackie Shroff ruled the late 80s and 90s. He had that effortless charisma around him. He didn't have to try. The ladies swooned and got weak in the knees just by having a glimpse of him. He clearly still has got it, at the age of 61. He made an appearance with son Tiger and showed us all that he remains as enigmatic as ever when it comes to his style game. Viral Bhayani You need guts to tie a bandana around your neck and a leather studded fanny pack around your waist while standing next to your son who practically is an Adonis in terms of looks and agility. And then manage to turn the collective heads of the entire audience towards yourself. Viral Bhayani We are in love with his sartorial choices here. The relaxed white shirt folded clumsily at the elbows paired up with the well-fitted navy chinos is complementing his carefree demeanour perfectly. Viral Bhayani We like how he has chosen to wear classic high top brown boots. They are bringing in the rustic, old world, cowboy vibe to the whole outfit. Viral Bhayani When it comes to the accessories, we are in absolute awe. He chose to tie a bandana around his neck. A red bandana, people. We don't know anyone else who'd even dare. Add to that the super edgy leather fanny pack. *Applause* Viral Bhayani We now understand why Tiger is as hardworking and as meticulous when it comes to looking and performing the way he does. When you have a father like that to look up to, you better live up to that! All we can say is that you just showed us why you still remain the OG style icon, Sir. Kudos!

People Are Finding It Oddly Satisfying To Look At Immortal Keanu Reeves Doing Things

Keanu Reeves is known for primarily two things – first, he is Hollywood's coolest actor and second, he is immortal. Interestingly, theories proving his immortality reach farther and faster than his movies. Well, I don't believe in vampires or immortals, but if the world believes that Keanu Reeves is an immortal, I am ready to throw logic and science out of the window. I mean, how else can we justify a 53-year-old looking hotter and younger than people half his age? Unless, someone introduces me to his doctor, whose Botox game is on point. Twitter After looking at this picture, I am convinced that Keanu Reeves might be a shape shifter or a time-traveller. Where else can you spot Keanu Reeves showing off with his pizza and another Keanu Reeves giving creepy looks in the background? I would have tagged Reeves in this picture, but I couldn't find his official page. Imgur But, having said all that, unlike his Hollywood peers, Reeves seems to be unaffected by all the fame that comes his way. He might walk past you or sit and have beer with you and come off as a regular bloke, even before you realize that you are chatting with none other than John Wick. Like this... Twitter Or this... Twitter And probably that's what we love about him. That he does not have any air around him or that he is so chilled out about all the memes and funny theories made on him. We don't think there's any other actor who has as many memes as Reeves has. Twitter But, after 'Keanu is sad', 'Keanu is immortal' to 'Keanu Reeves is French Actor Paul Mounet's alter ego'; just when we thought we've seen enough, some genius came around to prove us wrong. Thanks to Reeves and this Twitter account, we now another hilariously brilliant set of memes. Cricket Fraternity Rallies Behind Crestfallen Steve Smith After His Emotional Apology

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. But, none of the cricket pundits or the fans could have possibly predicted Steve Smith's reign as Australia's captain to end on such a note. Scrutinised in the media, hounded by cameras, devastated, broken and crippled by shame; this was definitely not the man who was previously compared to Australian great Donald Bradman. This time last week, Smith's biggest worries were probably the overturning of Kagiso Rabada's suspension, his struggling form and tackling the might of AB de Villiers. But, today, he would rather see himself get consumed with those problems than the mess he finds himself in. The job he covets is gone, so too the chance to wear the baggy green for at least one year - a significant amount of time to finish someone's career. Cricket was more than a game to Smith and this is more than a professional disaster - something that was thoroughly visible throughout his emotional press conference in Sydney. Smith's tearful apology in front of media helped trigger the resignation of coach Darren Lehmann and further prompted calls to rein in criticism which has now verged on hysterical during a week full of emotions for Australian cricket. And, joining the ever-growing chorus, Indian cricketers, too, rallied behind the tainted trio in these dark times. Gautam Gambhir gave his opinion on the ball-tampering scandal in a series of tweets defending Smith and David Warner while condemning their actions on third day's play at the Newlands. I may be getting emotional but @stevesmith49 doesn't look to me a cheat. Don't know about u but I see in him a desperate leader trying to win a Test match for his country, his team. Yes, indeed, his methods were questionable but let's not label him corrupt #BallTamperingScandal pic.twitter.com/xOxAM45QXM — Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) March 29, 2018 Feel sorry for @stevesmith49 dad (in pic) other family members. Hope media n Aussie public go easy on them as families can be soft targets. More than d ban living wid this feeling of being called a cheat is a bigger punishment. #BallTamperingRow pic.twitter.com/L2sV8BgWAH — Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) March 29, 2018 While cricket needs to be corruption-free but feel sanctions on Aussies bit harsh. Are @stevesmith49 & @davidwarner31 paying for revolt for pay hike? History has it administrators deride those who standup for players' cause. Classic case: Ian Chappell #BallTampering #StevenSmith — Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) March 29, 2018 On the other hand, Indian opener Rohit Sharma, too, came out in support of Smith after watching the video of him being escorted at the airport and his recent press conference where he apologised for his mistakes with tears in his eyes. pic.twitter.com/w7LX6a2EYU — Rohit Sharma (@ImRo45) March 29, 2018 Here's a look at how the cricket fraternity offered support to Smith in the lowest of lows of his career: 'Good people make mistakes' .. I honestly think Steve Smith & Cam Bancroft are decent guys who had a moment of madness .. they deserve a 2nd chance and hopefully get the right support around them now .. Takes a lot guts to do what they did today .. — Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) March 29, 2018 Hope in time I can earn forgiveness says Steve Smith. He has already got mine. Pakistanis among 17 illegal migrants? killed in Turkey bus crash

Picture of the minibus crash in Igdir, eastern Turkey on March 30, 2018 - AFP ANKARA: At least 17 people have been killed and another 36 wounded after a bus carrying illegal immigrants hit a lighting pole in eastern Turkey and burst into flames, local media reported on Friday. The bus, which crashed late Thursday on the Igdir-Kars highway, was carrying nationals from Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported. Images in Turkish media showed smoke rising from the charred bus with its front smashed and migrants lying on the road with bloodied faces. "When we arrived at the scene we found a... migrant tragedy," Igdir province governor Enver Unlu told reporters at the scene. "We are deeply saddened that the frequent smuggling of migrants, which goes on in our province, has ended in a traffic accident." Health officials said some of the injured were in a serious condition. The bus had a capacity of 14 people but over 50 people including women were on board, according to Anadolu. The Igdir public prosecutor has opened an investigation into the incident while officials sought to identify the driver. Thirteen illegal migrants were detained by security forces inside another bus, which Anadolu said had been on the same journey as the one involved in the crash. Road accidents are common in Turkey. Turkish state broadcaster TRT said last month that 3,530 people were killed on the roads in 2017.

Behaviour in cricket has sunk to 'abysmal' levels: Pakistan coach Arthur

Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur. Photo: AFP Former Australia coach Mickey Arthur said he expected Steve Smith to recover from the ball-tampering scandal which has left him with a lengthy ban -- but added that he wasn´t so sure about co-conspirator David Warner. Arthur, now coach of Pakistan, also told AFP that behaviour had sunk to ?abysmal? levels in world cricket and needed rapid improvement, after a series of flare-ups in recent months. Smith and Warner, Australia´s captain and vice-captain, were banned for 12 months for a ball-tampering incident in South Africa also involving Cameron Bancroft, who was suspended for nine months. It has been a dramatic fall for Smith, 28, who was being compared with the legendary Donald Bradman just a few months ago but who broke down in tears during an apology on Thursday. "I feel desperately sorry for Smith. I know he eats, sleeps and drinks cricket," said Arthur. "He loves cricket and everything he did. He loved the job, he was passionate about the job. I think he was a very good leader and an unbelievable cricketer." However, Arthur wondered whether there would be a way back for Warner, who has been blamed for hatching the plot and has cut an isolated figure as the scandal unfolded. Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur slams ´boorish´ Australia cricketers Arthur says ball-tampering scandal in South Africa was the culmination of years of inaction The 31-year-old batsman, who has issued a statement admitting responsibility for the incident, is due to face media for the first time on Saturday. "I definitely see the return of Smith, without a doubt. He will be there, he will serve his time, he will train hard and he will come back stronger," Arthur said. "Davey Warner, I am not a hundred percent sure." ?Above everybody else? Arthur, who was sacked as Australian coach in June 2013 after just 19 months in charge, said he had been concerned about the team´s behaviour for some time. The South African tried to address Australia´s culture when he banned four players for failing to complete a "homework" assignment, but then fell out with Cricket Australia. "I have been disappointed at the behaviour of the Australian team over a last couple of years, to be honest," Arthur said. "I think that they felt they are almost above everybody else so that´s been disappointing because they are a good enough cricket team, they are skilled enough cricketers to win games without resorting to the kind of tactics they have." He added: "I am disappointed for the knock that Australian cricket is taking at the moment and world cricket in general, so it´s a disappointing and sad time for world cricket." But Arthur also said the "reality check", which comes after a number of untoward incidents on the South Africa tour, could do Australia some good. "They need to play hard but they need to play fair. The verbal sledging and we have seen scuffles in tunnels and faux pas on the field and now the ball-tampering, and I think that has just gone a little bit too far," he said. "I think this is a reality check for them and hopefully it does Australian cricket some good and they rebound back from it, because the cricket world needs Australia fit and firing because they are a hell of a good team when they are." Broken window, scuffles The International Cricket Council has announced a review into player behaviour and the spirit of the game, with chief executive David Richardson warning "cricket is itself in danger". During Australia´s tour of South Africa, Warner had to be restrained during an angry confrontation with Quinton de Kock, and South African bowler Kagiso Rabada was charged for brushing shoulders with Smith. Australia´s Nathan Lyon was also fined for dropping the ball next to a sprawling AB de Villiers. There were also a number of flashpoints during last month´s tri-series between Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India. "I think over the last few months the behaviour has been abysmal in international cricket," Arthur said. "We have seen Bangladesh captain (Shakib Al Hasan) calling players off the field, we have seen Bangladesh breaking a window in the dressing room, we have seen dances on the ground," said Arthur, referring to the tri-series. "We have seen tunnel scuffles (between Warner and de Kock), we have seen Rabada... we have seen a ball dropped on AB de Villiers´s head, so I think behaviours certainly need to be addressed."

Pakistani child bowling prodigies impress Akram, Warne

Two six-year-olds have become social media sensations in cricket-mad Pakistan with videos of their bowling "blowing away" the likes of Shane Warne and Wasim Akram, who have been giving the pair tips on improving their game. Eli Mikal Khan, from the southwestern city of Quetta, has been nicknamed "Shane Warne Junior" after videos posted on Twitter of his astonishing leg break bowling attracted awe from fans around the world and drew tips and encouragement from the Australian legend. Another six-year-old, an aspiring pace bowler named Hasan Akhtar, has meanwhile been dubbed "Little Wasim Akram" after the former Pakistani captain -- who also saw videos of him on Twitter and insisted on tracking him down and meeting him. The two children have been widely feted by Pakistani media, as the cricket-obsessed country celebrates the successful staging of the third Pakistan Super League final in Karachi -- a hugely symbolic step towards bringing international teams back amid improving security. Eli, who spoke to AFP at his home in Quetta, said he dreams of playing for Pakistan. "I love cricket... I want to become a perfect leg-break bowler," he said. He said he enjoys the adulation he has received -- particularly from legends such as Warne, who first tweeted encouragement to Eli after seeing one of his videos in March. In this photograph taken on March 27, 2018, Pakistani child Eli Mikal Khan, 6, delivers a ball as his father Abdullah Khan (L), who is a local cricket coach and runs an academy, watches during a cricket bowling practice in Quetta - AFP This week Warne retweeted another video of Eli, writing: "Absolutely fantastic, blown away on how good the ball comes out of your hand, especially at the age of only 6 -- well done and keep up the great work. One tip -- get that bowling arm a little higher!" Eli, whose father and coach Abdullah Khan maintains his Twitter account, said he had been honoured by the tweet, adding: "I will definitely work on the given tip by Sir @ShaneWarne". Pakistani hopes lifted Admiration of the two six-year-olds comes as Pakistan enjoys guarded optimism over the return of international cricket, driven from the country after a deadly militant attack targeting the Sri Lanka team in 2009. Last weekend Karachi became the second major venue to host international matches after Lahore hosted five international matches against Zimbabwe in 2015, as well as the PSL final in March last year, three World XI matches in September and one against Sri Lanka a month later. If Eli's dream of playing for Pakistan bears fruit, he could be joined by fellow Twitter sensation Hasan, videos of whom drew Akram's notice in late February. "Where is this boy???" he said, retweeting one of the videos and calling for a "platform" to discover such talent in Pakistan. On Monday he tweeted images of himself with the six-year-old, who he called a "young sensation" with "unbelievable skills". "Really enjoyed myself spending quality time with Hasan," he wrote, adding that the child´s knowledge is already "unreal". Hasan's father Muhammad said that before he realised how talented his son was, he found the bowling habit "annoying". "Our home floor is made of mud and Hasan would break the surface bowling all day," he told AFP by telephone from their village of Chichawatni, some 200 kilometres from Lahore. One of Hasan's seven older siblings posted the initial video of him, which the family did not know had gone viral until a cousin phoned to say it was playing on television and that news reporters were looking for him. The meeting with Akram took place in Karachi, arranged by private broadcaster Geo, Hasan's father said, adding that it was "beyond imagination". Hasan said Akram had been "very kind", adding that other heroes include Pakistan's Muhammad Aamir and Australia's Mitchell Starc. "We did not expect the amount of love and support he has shown to us," Hasan's father said. "He coached Hasan how to hold the ball properly, the importance of the run-up and how to deliver the ball and he insisted that Hasan should continue his studies."
