David Warner Breaks Down As He Apologises & Is Resigned To Never Play For Australia Again
Regrets are stronger when they hit you every day and affect the position you built in the society for yourself. Australian cricketer, David Warner has been doing the walk of shame for a while now. He was banned after he was accused in the Cape Town ball-tampering scandal. In a recent press conference, a teary-eyed Warner fought back tears as he genuinely apologised for his role in the scandal and said he is 'resigned' to never playing for Australia again. He has already lost a lot of money since the scandal exposed him and Warner is willing to comply with the authorities and give answers. 1/3 I know there are unanswered questions and lots of them. I completely understand. In time i will do my best to answer them all. But there is a formal CA process to follow. — David Warner (@davidwarner31) March 31, 2018 2/3 I am taking advice to make sure I properly comply with that process and answer all questions in the proper place and at the proper time. — David Warner (@davidwarner31) March 31, 2018 3/3 I should have mentioned that in my press conference I'm sorry for not making it clearer. With so much at stake for my family and cricket I have to follow this process properly. I think that's fair. — David Warner (@davidwarner31) March 31, 2018 Warner is not going to be considered for any captaincy positions in the future and his cricket career has been jeopardised by his own actions. Cricket is just not a game, but an emotion and it seems like David is paying a high price for trading his future with an unwanted scandal.
