Lieutenant Arsalan Alam, a 22-year-old Pak Army officer who hailed from Murree, embraced martyrdom on September 23, while commanding a post in Rajgal valley of Khyber Agency, which borders Afghanistan. The father of the martyred officer, who the ISPR said was the only man left in the family, breathed his last on Wednesday.
