Cold dry weather to grip most parts of Pakistan
File photo ISLAMABAD: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours with shallow foggy conditions over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours. A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country, an official of Met Office said on Wednesday. Meanwhile, during the last 24 hours, the weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. Maximum temperatures recorded on Wednesday were: Skardu -06°C, Kalat, Quetta, Gupis, Gilgit -02°C, Dir -01°C, Chitral 00 °C, Murree 02°C, Islamabad 05 °C, Muzaffarabad 06°C, Peshawar 07 °C, Lahore, Faisalabad 09 °C, Multan 10 °C, Hyderabad 14°C and Karachi 17 °C.
