The Recreated Version Of 'Mundiyan To Bach Ke Rahi' Is Proof That Bollywood Needs New Lyricists

Bollywood's carnal love for recreating old classics seems to have taken a dangerous turn. Everyone's favourite Punjabi song, 'Mundiyan To Bach Ke Rahi' has been recreated and while the makers of 'Baaghi 2' have tried very hard to invoke the same magic but alas, none of that has happened in the slightest. Allow me to decrypt what went wrong here. Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff look hot and dance like pros, of course, there is no doubt about that. However, that is probably the only aesthetic blessing we have. Also, they remind you of Kareena and Shahid from 'Mauja Hi Mauja'. © Twitter Talking about the music, the original is so awesome that doing anything to it would mean murder, and that is exactly what happened. Mind you, I am talking about a classic number that is famous across the globe and is even played at clubs in Europe. Adding random Hindi lyrics also didn't help one bit. However, the song will be on the wedding charts this season but the rate at which Bollywood is rehashing songs, we seriously need good lyricists. Talking about the original Punjabi MC number, here it goes : 'Baaghi 2' will have Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani come together as an on-screen couple and by the looks of the trailer; the movie is owned by Tiger only. The movie is directed by Ahmed Khan and will be releasing on March 30th, 2018.
