Twitter Believes ‘Judwaa 2' Is The Only Indian Movie That Can Compete With ‘Newton'. Not!
The highly anticipated movie ‘Judwaa 2' just released today, with everyone quite excited to watch this new remake, starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Everyone was obviously quite excited for the movie, but there are some people who couldn't help but compare it to last week's big release ‘Newton'. The Rajkumar Rao-starrer ‘Newton' is set in a Naxal-affected area in the state of Chattisgarh, with the story revolving around an election officer who goes against all odds to make sure elections are held in a fair manner. © Drishyam Films As anyone can tell, both movies have extremely different storylines, but will that stop people on Twitter from bashing the slapstick comedy that is ‘Judwaa 2'? Absolutely not. And, it's not just talking about the movie, but they're comparing it to India's Oscars entry, ‘Newton', dragging in everyone's favourite word these day – nepotism – in the process. Okay fine, that is totally unfair, but some of them are still hilarious nonetheless. Wish Judwaa 2 Ki Dussehra Could Be Celebrated By Burning The Raavan Of "Nepotism" From #Bollywood. We Need Quality Movies, Not #Judwaa2ððð — Sir Ravindra Jadeja (@SirJadeja) September 29, 2017 So much nepotism. Ekdan sahi. Ye movie jab flop ho jayegi, papa dhavan fir ek movie bana denge. — Prashant (@prashantDocean) September 29, 2017 But, there needs to be a balance. We need a brilliant film like #Newton for sure but we will never stop needing #Judwaa2 coz All india blockbusters get money into industry! — Milap (@zmilap) September 29, 2017 Using science to roast, pretty cool. As Newton said every action has an equal & opposite reaction#Judwaa2 is equal & opposite to #Newton — animesh (@ani_mated_jain) September 27, 2017 Quite a relief, indeed. Watching #Newton was a fantastic experience.T'was quite a relief after the assault that #Judwaa2 trailer did to my senses.YAY to good cinema — Jayanthi A Pushkaran (@apjayanthi) September 24, 2017 True. Talent & brilliance in Indian cinema delivers #Newton @RajkummarRao. Nepotism & mediocrity delivers #judwaa2 @Varun_dvn @karanjohar — Amit Tiwari (@iToni13) September 23, 2017 But, wasn't that already expected? Tomorrow we will come to know mentality of #Indians when we will come to know #Judwaa2 made more money than #Newton ððReady For Judwaa 2âï¸ http://pic.twitter.com/YistAoKeof — Time Traveller (@AManFromTaured) September 28, 2017 Still unfair, though. #Judwaa2 1/5 in every review. earning 50 Cr. #newton 4/5 every review. earning 1 cr. #nepotism Judwaa 2 Ki Dussehra — नà¥à¤ दà¥à¤ à¤à¤à¤¿à¤·à¥à¤ (@abhishekjain118) September 29, 2017 The only way these movies are connected. Also before Newton, they showed the trailer for Judwaa 2 and that was the worst 2 minutes I've spent this year. — Shivam (@GhantaGuy) September 22, 2017 Nepotism is getting out of hand. Quality actors like #RajkummarRao gives only quality movies like Newton Nepotism only gives Judwaa 2#Oscars2018 #Newton — Shivam Agrawal (@shivamagrawal98) September 22, 2017
