Gulalai?s ?former assistant? shot dead in Lakki Marwat

[embed_video1 url=http://ift.tt/2hkL3YQ style=center] LAKKI MARWAT: Politician Ayesha Gulalai?s former ?personal assistant? and contractor, identified as Noor Zaman, was shot dead in Lakki Marwat on Sunday. The police said that Zaman was killed when gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on him near Tajori. The suspects managed to escape from the scene. According to police, Zaman was killed due to personal enmity. Following the incident, Noor?s family filed a case against four suspects, identified as Umar, Shaban, Saeed Alam and Rawal Khan. The police are conducting operations to arrest the suspects. Zaman had filed a corruption reference against Gulalai in the National Accountability Bureau on August 9, a few days after Gulalai had accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan of sending her ?indecent? messages. Man claiming to be Gulalai's assistant accuses her of corruption Gulalai's father would make money from projects given in her supervision, he claims Zaman had claimed that Gulalai embezzled funds in a video message on August 3. Zaman introduced himself as Gulalai's political assistant and alleged that she received Rs7.2 million as a kickback in the construction of Bannu Link Road-Saddakhel Road. He said that he himself got Rs. 4.75 million out of the total amount. The former MNA?s assistant said Gulalai pressurised him for receipts of the amount, but he refused. He added the counter terrorism department also detained him for two days on Gulalai?s call. However, Gulalai had denied the charges and that Zaman was her personal secretary.
