5 Clever Style Lessons From Jon Snow That Every Man Should Learn To Look Taller & More Muscular
Before winter hit, we all believed that Jon Snow knows nothing. But the lad proved us wrong, and how! From being sidetracked as a bastard to becoming the King in the North, he has proved time and time again that he knows quite a bit. That knowledge extends to the domain of style as well, we believe. Here are 5 style lessons from Jon Snow that you should definitely learn, that will make you look taller, and more muscular. 1. Embrace The Black Jon didn't have a choice here, but he made the most of it. Kit Harrington is 5'8", but he always managed to look tall, at least as compared to his counterparts in the show. Hell, some of the wildlings are part giant, you know what we mean? The secret? Black. All-black has always been Snow's go-to outfit, that makes him look taller. Black anyway is badass, and it makes you look intimidating yet sophisticated if carried out sagaciously. Try it, don't be scared. © Twitter 2. Add Volume To Your Shoulders Well again, Snow had to do it because staying true to his name, he literally had to spend most of his time in icy conditions. So, he needed to wear fur. But our point is, what did that achieve from a styling point of view? It gave him that elusive V-taper, and made him look intimidating. Broad shoulders anyway makes you look more muscular and gives you a manly silhouette. Wear more collars, and don't shy away from shirts and kurtas with the 'military' flap on the shoulders. That will do it. © Twitter 3. Grow Your Hair Out Most of us shy away from experimenting with our hair. Snow had impressive black locks that the ladies went crazy over. Remember all the times Jon was referred as being 'pretty', even by men? Well, try growing your hair out and use it wisely to frame your face in a way that gives you a super exotic, mysterious look. It will definitely add angles to your face (even if you go for a top knot or a man bun), and give you more height. © Twitter 4. Unleash The Power Of Monochromatic Combos Whenever Jon wasn't wearing black, he stuck to dark, earthy tones like brown, rust grey, and the occasional sand-dune beige. He, however, was always consistent in terms of making it monochromatic, which is using a single shade of colour for the entire outfit. What does it achieve? It makes you look slimmer and leaner, and therefore, taller. © Twitter 5. Wear Leather Leather is badass, period. Why do you think biker dudes and anyone presumably 'cool' wears leather? Because it makes you look stylish, yet a little menacing. What's there to complain? © Twitter
