When Fear, Failure & Aggression Become The Necessities To Survive In This World
Most of the time, it is the experience of ourselves and others that label certain things as good and bad for us. Right? Well if we take a second look, our view on a certain subject may change drastically, depending on the circumstances. Here we are going to do the same. Without any complicated jargons. We are going to look at the positive side of the so-called or labeled negative things in life, to which we are often asked to stay away from. 1. Fear © Meetville Fear is not all that bad. It is necessary to keep you going. If you do not have the fear of losing something too important to you, then you won't be able to take action to save that thing. It could be the fear of losing a loved one, a job or an opportunity. It is the fear that drives you towards your goal. Interstingly, some people prefer fear setting over goal setting. When you go with fear setting, you imagine the kind of life you will have to live if you do not achieve a certain goal. A contained fear is necessary to keep you going on the right track. 2. Aggressiveness © YouTube Well, if we notice, aggressiveness is the sign of energy in you which you are just not using in the right direction. A little aggressiveness is necessary to keep that fire alive in your soul. Have you seen Virat Kohli playing? He has aggression in his nature but he uses it to his and the team's advantage. 3. Selfishness © Men's Fellowship Network Families are important, friends are important, and of course, children are important, but above all, you are important as well. A little selfishness is essential to survive in this world. If you forget about yourself and keep on giving then you may ultimately lose out on yourself. If taking care of your priorities, your health, your peace of mind, your space, is selfish then it is better to be selfish than dying. 4. Failure © YouTube Most of us fear failure and that stops us from taking the first step towards any success. Failure is not a bad thing but a very essential part of the process. Thomas Alva Edison failed thousands of time before gifting brightness to the world. Elon Musk has failed, Mark Zuckerberg does and so do many succesful people. If you are failing, that simply means you are trying. Keep on goin unless you reach your goal. 5. Gossiping © Thinkstock I often remind myself that excessive gossiping is a waste of time, but it is healthier when you do it in a controlled way without putting aside the values you stand by. No, backstabbing and whining about someone does not count. A little chit-chat over trivial issues with your buddies keeps your mind out of the mundane and relaxed. Consider it as your time to buffer. 6. Resistance © Reuters Did you know the man who plays the Incredible Hulk in Avengers, Mark Ruffalo had Dyslexia, ADD(Attention Deficiency), and Brain Tumor at one point in time? After recovering from a deadly disease like brain tumor Mark said, “Those places where you find resistance in yourself, that's where growth happens. Whatever your mind tells you is a limit is a lie; limitations are lies we tell ourselves.” If you think something is stopping you from achieving your goals, do not hate it but thank it and embrace it. It is something that gives you a chance to grow before you get into the real game you dream of. The same resistance or roadblock prepares you for the challenge. 7. Craziness © AZ Quotes Steve Jobs once said, “Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world usually do.” These are golden words. Every genius you will see around you will definitely have a good sense of craziness in him or her. You need the craziness quotient to think unique and be unique. Being crazy is being human. 8. Giving up © Thinkstock No one would usually advise you to give up but I would, but only in one case. For instance, take a relationship as an example. If you are in a toxic relationship that is depressing you, then giving it up or letting it go could be the only solution. Things end anyway. The only thing in your control is how much time you can save before it begins ruining your life. Use your wit, listen to your gut and then go for it or not, but do not dismiss the option to backing down once in a while.
