KXIP Lose Again, But Preity Zinta Admits She's Happy MI Isn't Going Into Playoffs Of IPL 2018
Kings XI Punjab hasn't had a very successful IPL 2018. They failed to qualify for the playoffs yet again. What's more, they have never won an IPL title. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, are the most successful IPL team with 3 title victories in 11 attempts. So, when one of the owners of Kings XI Punjab passes some unsportsmanlike comments about Mumbai Indians, it's pretty obvious it will make the news. Mumbai Indians needed to defeat Delhi Daredevils on Sunday in order to qualify for the playoffs. Sadly they fell 11 runs short. Them losing gave Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals a chance to qualify for the playoffs. Kings XI Punjab needed to beat Chennai Super Kings by 53 runs or more to qualify. Unfortunately, their top order collapsed and they were only able to put a decent 153 on the board. But, for a team like Chennai Super Kings, chasing down this total wasn't going to be trouble. They managed to win with 5 balls to spare. But, there's a saying. Every cloud has a silver lining. At least that's what it looked like Preity Zinta believes in. After the match, while she should have been mourning her team's loss and knockout from the competition, she was seen smiling and having fun. Did #PreityZinta just say “I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals..Really happy” ð¤ #CSKvKXIP #MIvsDD #IPL #IPL2018 pic.twitter.com/KWaxSUZYZh — Jo (@jogtweets) May 20, 2018 There is no way of confirming what Preity was saying and there's no way she is going to come out in public and admit to saying something as unsportsmanlike as this. But, if you watch the video a few times, you will cleary see what she's saying. Here's our best guess, "I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals..Really happy." Whether or not she said these words is something you will have to decide for yourself. For now, all we can say is there is nothing wrong in taking pleasure in someone else's loss. We do it all the time. Preity is human too. She has a right to be happy. Whatever makes her happy. Just next time, perhaps she should wait till she's behind closed doors.
