This Cop Took Over As The DJ In A Club And No Points For Guessing, It Was The Safest Party Ever

What comes to mind when you think of cops in a party? Here in India, the sight of cops in a party would probably mean one thing – a brawl. Or perhaps a raid. Elsewhere in the world too, cops in uniform at a party would normally give party-goers a queasy feeling in the stomach. © Thinkstock Photos But things were took a different turn at a pub in Birmingham, Britain. Clubbers at the pub were left pleasantly surprised when a cop took control over the DJ console and played for them. That's right. PC Benjamin Simmons, a police officer from West Midlands Police, decided to belt out numbers for the crowd partying at the club Pryzm. He played 'Sound of Da Police', which is a remix of Sound of KRS-One. What's more – the crowd loved it. Well, this is no drunken cop story. Simmons and his colleague PC Andy Parson have been working for the Safer Students campaign, which promotes (as the name suggests) student safety. The campaign is aimed at helping students, especially freshers at universities, ensure their safety inside and outside campus. cops on the decks excellent nobody needs to be scared — jonathan louis (@jonathanboogles) September 29, 2017 The officer was off duty and decided to engage the crowd whist delivering an important message. Nevertheless, it was an absolute clever move on the part of the cop to reach out to youngsters and let them have some fun. You know it's gonna be a safe party when your local cop is your DJ.
