Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Dirty' Beard Is Going To Irritate & Annoy Every Indian Mother

Looks like SSR has been off the radar recently. A certain fictional source tell us, it's the actor's laziness, constant alarm-snoozing and if we may, an apparent grooming mistake that's keeping him indoors. Because really, if our shutterbugs and witnesses are any indication, Sushant Singh Rajput has finally grown a lazy beard. Something, that has now started to look like a mess, is beginning to scatter like Oh, dear! and nowehere close to what the grooming gods recommend. Even Indian mothers would disapprove of it (don't they hate messy beards?). What a pity! But what's made this development worthy of a mention here is it's bipolar nature of looking wrong and right, at the very same time. While to your mother, Sushant is now looking horribly 'unhygienic', to us, he's now the master tutor of laid-back grooming regimes. For perspective, here's a flashback of Rajput's beard history to begin with! #Throwback to the time when he had a stubble: © Instagram/Sushant Singh Rajput To that point in his life, when it became a big part of his personal style. Appearing in even formal settings: © BCCL Then, came his MS Dhoni-esque long tresses, to go along with his stubble: © BCCL Remember, he had a moustache too? © The Telegraph Clearly, Rajput has never sported a fully-grown beard. He's had phases with his stubble, grown his tresses out for a movie character, but never in his lifetime grown his mug out. To each his own, we guess. But here's the recent development in this story: © Viral Bhayani Time to break out of your shell — Singh has finally let his facial fur grow out. But if looked closely, much like me, he's probably not blessed with the ability of blooming a beard. He's a part of the herd of men with patchy beards, so let's just say — that's no biggie, bro. What's to take away from this beard, however, is the fact that it may be unkempt, messy and supremely dirty, but the actor's making it work for him. It's lacking the appearance of sharp beard lines, any version of contouring and any measure to define his face better — but that's okay. © Viral Bhayani He's put efforts into it anyway. The hair growth may be erratic but it's well in control, Singh's gone the extra mile to grow a moustache (that needs constant trimming) and there's a faint connect between the 'stache and the rest of the scatter. Clearly, Sushant knew he didn't want to go all Shahid Kapoor with his beard here.
