Missed The 'Super Blue Blood Moon' Last Night? An Unimpressed Twitter Has Got Your Back

A cosmic phenomenon that happens only once in 150 years is bound to make people have extremely high expectations and feel excited. So much so, that most of us even set our alarms to witness it. But alas, not all our expectations were met. And the recent 'super blue blood moon' was no exception. Yesterday, the entire world waited with bated breath to see a blue moon, a supermoon and a complete lunar eclipse — all rolled into one. The pictures that came out were mesmerizing to say the least. Whoa! This north London, right now! One of the most amazing cosmic events I've ever experienced. Lucky enough to have taken photos of it. <3#lunareclipse #supermoon #bluemoon #bloodmoon #SuperBlueBloodMoon pic.twitter.com/s5bbg2jWG3 — Bryan ng Buhay Mo (@bryanngantipolo) January 31, 2018 For some weird and unknown reason, a few people took the name a little too literally and were expecting a true 'blue' colored moon. And you know what happens when Twitter users do not get what they want and expect? They rant away with tweets and memes. 1. You Are Bound To Be Disappointed With Such High Expectations. In case it doesn't help, just make do with the good quality, high-resolution pictures across the internet, just like the rest of us.
