Turns Out The Video Of A Hyderabad Man Crushed By A Train While Clicking A Selfie…Was A Prank

Almost a week ago, you must have seen a video going viral on the internet for its sheer stupidity. The video was of a man in Hyderabad, who 'like a boss' was clicking a selfie as a train approached him. From what we saw in the video, the ending was pretty horrific and he appeared to have either died or suffered serious injuries. If you didn't come across this video before, then have a look: Shocking!! A youth was seen close to a railway track in #Hyderabad in order to take a video selfie with the MMTS. A man can be heard asking him to move, though he insists to get the perfect shot, before the train hits him off. The youth reportedly is alive. @SCRailwayIndia pic.twitter.com/wMIGaxS1je — Hyderabad Times (@HydTimes) January 24, 2018 While the video went viral and took the country by storm, we all were left wondering about why would anyone be stupid enough to do something like this? And now, adding to the absurdity of this whole fiasco, it turns out that the man is indeed alive and has no serious injuries. A journalist posted a video where you can see him joking around with his friends: Now that's what I call a miracle !! The stupid Selfie man hit by speeding train is doing fine with no visible or serious injuries. #Hyderabad pic.twitter.com/I7aYWUFnzX — Aashish (@Ashi_IndiaToday) January 25, 2018 If you are wondering, 'Y he do dis?' then we have the answer. Another journalist revealed on her Twitter that the man in the video- Shiva and his friends decided to record this idiotic stunt in order to fool people. But we bet they never thought it would escalate so quickly. This guy Shiva n his friends created MMTS train accident fake video, fooled ppl as accident took place, this guy works in a gym at Madapur as general instructor, got this info from my teammate who goes to this gym, now this guy is absconding pic.twitter.com/QebASR3FcS — Nellutla Kavitha (@iamKavithaRao) January 25, 2018 Now it isn't exactly clear whether or not he suffered from any injuries at all, but from the newly surfaced videos he definitely looks in a jolly good state and we are of course relieved to see him healthy. Apparently, he claims he was trying to create awareness about the value of life when weighed against the dangers of taking such dangerous selfies. But that in no way compensates for what he did and how it could have had serious consequences.
