7 Key Pieces Celebrities Are Wearing In India Right Now
Without a doubt, famous Indian guys aren't any less celebrated than the ones in the West. And their styles too, are in-sync with the best of them. Think hypebeast clothing, anti-fits (or over-sized), dirty sneakers — they wear them all. Nothing that exists on the (rotating) face of earth, has ever not been found in an Indian celebrity's wardrobe. They work out, pump those guns and slip in some insane year. So much so, that every time we spot a new distinct piece of apparel on them, we go ballistic at the malls, trying to cop them right away. But that's like versing you with the drill. The point is, what are these pieces they've been wearing lately, that're on our radar? Let's list a few of them here: 1. (Almost) Construction Worker-Reflective-Windcheater © Viral Bhayani When there's a medley of a fluorescent hue with metallics, you'd rather stand up and notice. Or maybe, just take a snap of it and discuss. But hey, besides that this looks dope. It is definitely a little out-of-the-blue and yet, nothing that's too unwearable; there's nothing to really talk about in detail. But keep the pairing simple, you don't actually want to belong to a construction site. 2. Velvet Blazer © Viral Bhayani Not so long ago, 'velvet' crept into the menswear scene on international runways. In just a few months and in various variants, we saw the luxe fabric in modern-Indian collections too, besides the fact that men like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh started to embrace it. Today, even Rajkummar Rao has instilled his faith in it, while he sports the fabric in formal wear. It's time you do too. 3. Savaged Shirts © Viral Bhayani We're not referring to your last savage comeback to a sexist statement, while you were wearing a pink shirt. Savaged shirts, as we call them are torn, ripped and savaged at the hemlines, making them badass pieces to own. Try it with a pornstache and chelsea boots (for added height) like Varun Dhawan. 4. Sliders © Viral Bhayani Something, that most Indian men need to trade their flip-flops for today. Though, they're an open form of footwear, sliders aren't symbols of lousy dressing. In fact, their shape is quite polished (if seen from a casual wear perspective) and don't look as dowdy as 'chappals' in public. Plus, you can transition these from home to an eased-out outing. And well, you can always turn to brands like Adidas or Nike, instead of McQueen's, as in the case of Singh. 5. Tassel Loafers © Viral Bhayani Cricket's most stylish shredder and Anushka Sharma's better half, Virat Kohli is a classy dresser. In no way, does he try and step up his game, nor intends to stay boring. He's found a middle ground that most famous men couldn't dig and has now, entered the world of style domination. His tassel loafers are living proof of this theory. 6. Dirty, Ugly Sneakers © Viral Bhayani Thanks to Balenciaga, dirty sneakers are a reality now. And yes, they're big, clunky and are almost dadcore represents. But that's also why they could be tricky to pair. Either turn to dad style (with relaxed silhouettes, baseball caps etc) or go the slim-fit route. Either way, remember to balance out your proportions and not make yourself look too bulky. Plus, keep dirty sneakers clean, not dirty. They already look dirty, don't get too lazy. 7. Floral, Breathe-Easy Hoodie © Viral Bhayani Summer layering fanatics, give us those ears. Since you're all for piling on layers and sweating like a pig, rather invest in something that's focused on the current season. And since florals are for summer, you rather turn to that first. Fuse the concept of summer layering+florals together and head right into a something like this fresh, flowery piece of outerwear here.
