After Cate Blanchett, Shah Rukh Khan Now Shares A Fanboy Moment With Christopher Nolan

Christopher Nolan, the man who has given us 'Dunkirk', 'The Dark Knight', 'Interstellar', 'Inception', 'Memento', 'Insomnia' and many such brilliant films, is currently in India and our Bollywood stars clearly can't keep calm. Just like how we get excited seeing them in front of us, our celebrities too find it difficult to contain all that excitement and switch their fan mode on whenever they meet their idol. And something similar happened when Bollywood's Badshah aka Shah Rukh Khan met Nolan. Twitter Shah Rukh Khan is the uncontested King of romance, who is known for his wit, humour and an infectious charm that's hard to resist. But, when he comes across his idol, just like us he too manages to live his fanboy moment. How can we forget his request to click a selfie with Cate Blanchett, which he made at the Davos stage, while receiving an award. And how can anyone even try to say no to that? In fact, SRK even tweeted the picture with a caption, “My Fanboy moment. Inspiring to hear Mr. Nolan & Ms. Tacita Dean talk of the virtues of celluloid as an artist's medium. Thanks @shividungarpur for having me over.” My Fanboy moment. Inspiring to hear Mr.Nolan & Ms.Tacita Dean talk of the virtues of celluloid as an artist's medium. He reportedly said, “I have watched some Indian cinema, not enough though but enjoyed them very much. I want to watch more of them.” He further added, “I have had the pleasure of watching Mr. Rays Pather Panchali recently, which I hadn't seen before. I think it is one of the best films ever made. It is an extraordinary piece of work. I am interested in learning more about Indian film industry and that is the reason why I came.” As Nolan spoke about movies, he also talked about Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini' that was inspired by his movie 'Memento'. Nolan said, “I have heard it was very successful, I heard people liked it. So, I will watch it at some point. I was aware of it, and I am very honoured.” Apart from SRK, another star who got his fanboy moment was Kamal Haasan. He too tweeted about his meeting with Nolan and said that he was surprised to know that Nolan had seen his movie 'Paapanaasam'. Met Mr.Christopher Nolan.
